“This restaurant was good. Their waiters were friendly and we didn’t wait too long. They were willing to split the check which was nice. We ordered the pork BBQ (very good but some of the pieces had a bit more fat/gristle than I like) the egg rolls (very crispy and delicious) and the coconut mango bingshu which looked and tasted phenomenal. All the food we ordered was beautifully presented. I would’ve liked a dipping sauce served with the egg rolls. I would also suggest soy sauce or salt available on the table but that’s a personal preference - I like very flavorful spicy and/or salty food. The atmosphere was nice and clean just a bit cold and breezy by the open window. Overall a good choice and I would go Back if I didn’t live halfway across the world.”

Service is generally friendly and efficient, Staff, especially Matthew, are attentive and the menu is extensive, offering something for everyone from classic appetizers to Hong Kong-style milk tea. Dragon Oriental is a solid choice for anyone seeking genuine Hong Kong-style cooking in Manchester. The roast duck, roast pork, and beef ho fun are highly recommended, but the menu is broad enough to satisfy any craving for Hong Kong comfort food. “Good choice if looking for some Chinese (Hong Kong styled) food. Came here twice for a work visit and enjoyed the wide variety of food. Portion sizes are large and if you spend over £50, there is an "add" one more dish for £1 promo. Authentic flavours and large drink selection which is great. Would recommend”

“My favourite Chinese restaurant in Manchester! Delicious food, my favourites are: the crispy chilli beef, ho fan noodles and crispy noodles. Authentic dishes and flavour. The dessert place downstairs also gives a perfect sweet treat at the end of the meal. Good price for the quality and portion you get.
